CellFiber is pleased to announce that Dr. Shannon Eaker has joined the company as General Manager, US. In this role, Dr. Eaker will lead CellFiber’s expansion into the United States, driving the company’s commitment to our Biopharmaceutical, Therapeutic and CDMO partners as demand grows for scalable cell and gene therapy and generative medicine manufacturing solutions in the US.
With over 15 years of experience in the Cell and Gene Therapy and Regenerative Medicine industries, Dr. Eaker has held senior roles including Chief Technology Officer at Xcell Biosciences and Cell Therapy Enterprise Solutions Leader at Cytiva (formerly General Electric). His expertise includes advancing end-to-end manufacturing technologies that enable therapeutic scale-up under tight timelines and budgets, across multiple modalities and applications including T-cell therapies and stem cell-derived workflows. He is also an active member of the International Society for Cell & Gene Therapy (ISCT) and Regenerative Medicine Manufacturing Society (RMMS).
