CellFiber Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce the following updates to its leadership team, effective June 24, 2026.
Director Yu Yanagisawa and Auditor Kunihiko Suzuki, both of whom have played instrumental roles in the company’s growth since its founding, have stepped down upon the expiration of their terms. Hiroki Setoyama has been appointed as the new Auditor.
CellFiber is advancing its global business expansion, including preparations for the launch of its US operations, as part of company’s broader rollout of core technologies enabling the commercialization of cell therapy. Under the leadership of Representative Director and CEO Kazuchika Furuishi, this leadership transition is intended to Cellfiber’s governance framework ahead of its entry into the US market.
Newly appointed Auditor Hiroki Setoyama brings extensive knowledge and experience in investment, business development support, and startup governance — all of which will be critical to CellFiber’s future global expansion.
CellFiber remains committed to bringing its proprietary cell culture technology to markets around the world under its new management structure, contributing to the advancement of regenerative medicine and cell therapy.
